The Fragrance of Worship

All I am, is all I have
And all I have to give
And I give it all to you.

It's my fragrant oil
It's my costly perfume.
I take my Alabaster Box and I break it open
Let the fragrance arise.

Taken from the song Alabaster Box by Julie Meyer

This song was played at the Fragrance of Worship evening held at Church on the Way on September 19, 2009. Over a hundred ladies attended a beautiful evening to worship our dear Lord Jesus.

It was made possible by our desire to know Christ in a personal way, which in turn springs from knowing that our God desires to save all of us.

A vision given almost two years ago was transformed by the empowerment of the Holy spirit into an exceptional evening of pure worship through song, testimony, flags and prayer.

Every detail of the evening was to honour the One who loved us first.  Many 'princesses used their very special giftings to make it outstanding.  The annointing for healing, the prayers for belief, the broken hearts, touched and cleansed.

Such an amazing God touched each one of us.  Praise and glory to You, Father.

Some comments received from sisters via cards, letters, notes and words of encouragement.

"Fragrance of Worship - a night I will never forget."

"The detailing for God was beautiful."

"The Spirit moved, the whole place was full of God's fragrance."

"Things like this don't just happen.  The annointing was powerful.  Pefect."

"I was so full of the Spirit I couldn't go to sleep when I got home"

Truly my sisters through your brlief and worship our Lord was magnified through your fragrance.

May all those who attended continue to be blessed and encouraged.

My love, prayers and very special thanks to all of you precious ladies, you made this evening special.  The love story continues.....

Praise God
