Salt & Light

Friday night is Salt & Light Kidzone Night and it takes place from 7.00pm to 8.30pm in school term time. It's run by our Children's Ministry Leader, Auntie Sue Brett and a team of responsible male and female adults. Any child aged between 5 and 12 years can come and join the fun. The age limit is strictly adhered to for the benefit of the children. If you are unable to bring your children, or take them home we may be able to pick them up or drop them off for you. Please speak to Auntie Sue.

Katie and Lois back_of_shirt We are inside in the big hall in Canaan Christian College in winter and also outside when the evenings are light enough. The children are allowed freedom to do any of the activities, or simply run about, or chill out with friends and have FUN in a safe environment. We play games with Jason, Rob, Andy,Sue,Lois and Jason Katie and Paige are in charge of the crafts and Dannie and Neil drive the children in from neighbouring estates.

For 45 minutes each week at the end a different leader gives a Bible message with a drama. This was followed by a team game and Wayne's team was victorious..........and all this is FREE!

Every week before home time we have our tuck shop and sell sweets, drinks, nachos, chips, hot dogs and ice cream then at 8.30pm your tired-out children are ready for home...............WooHoo............See you there

KidZone 2009

It's time to book for Kidzone 2010 !!

Thank you to all the parents who entrusted their children to us this summer - we hope that your child came home tired and happy after each day and that they'll want to come back again next year.

Thank you to the children who were so cooperative and a pleasure to work with - we hope that you made new friends, had fun, and learned new things about yourselves and each other.

Thank you to the team - without whom there would have been no KidZone programme. Your hard work and talents made this probably the most successful KidZone programme we have delivered. Well done!
