Church On The Way likes to think of itself as a family of people who love the Lord Jesus and want others to know Him too. We don't have members as such, it's just that Church On The Way is 'Home' for us. Our family is made up of people of all ages and from all walks of life.
We have two services each Sunday, morning and evening, and each will consist of about 45 minutes of worship, and 45 minutes of studying scripture. We place great emphisis on music, and our worship bands are capable of leading us in modern praise and intimate worship songs, as well as some of the best loved of traditional hymns. There is opportunity for fellowship and a coffee after each service.
Church On The Way is part of the Calvary Chapel movement, and as such places great emphasis also on teaching the bible, which we believe to be the infallible and inspired word of God. We study the bible in a structured way, moving through a book chapter by chapter.
Here at Church On The Way we have a wide variety of meetings throughout the week that cater for all ages. We have a very healthy childrens' ministry, which provides stimulating age related activities for children from the creche upwards. Our youth have their own 3C's coffee bar in which to 'hangout' and have their own programme of meetings. Our senior members have their own meetings too.
We have excellent facilities on our site and we like to host 'One Off' events - both to encourage us and to reach out to others. We do have a heart to reach out to others to tell them of Jesus' love.
