Susan Brett is the leader of Children's Ministry at Church on the Way.

We have a wide variety of children's ministries:

Sunday School
Sunday School is split into three age groups - 0-3 years, 3-5 years and 5-12 years. Sunday School runs alongside the main Sunday service from 10:30 - 12:00.

Tea-Time Club
for 4-9 years, Tea-Time club runs every Monday during term-time from 4:00pm - 5:30pm.

See & Know
Church On the Way's Mums & Toddlers (0-3 years) playgroup, runs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 9:30am - 11:30am. 
Salt & Light
is our Friday night club, and runs from 7:00pm - 8:30pm during term time and is for 5years plus

KidZone
runs three times yearly - Easter, for 3 weeks in summer and at Christmas

CHILDRENS MINISTRY VISION

To see the children crying at having to leave Sunday School each week" .

THE PROGRAMME
A fun and exciting programme developing the children's knowledge of the Lord and the Bible with a view to knowing Him as Saviour and Friend.

The programme shall be positively led with love and compassion and with a caring discipline that promotes and develops respect for self and for others.

Within the programme the following aspects should be evident:

• Expression of praise and worship
• Prayer
• Remembrance and celebration of the Lords Supper.
• The giving of tithes and offerings.
• The remembering and observance of certain valued traditions.
• The provision of opportunities for service.
• Motivation.
• Reward.
• Recognition.
• Participation.
• Evangelism.
