Church on the Way in Bradford is a Christian Fellowship which was formed in 1978. We are very much a family church who love the Lord Jesus and come together to praise and worship the Living Saviour. Great emphasis is placed on music and on teaching the Bible as part of our worship.
We believe that the Word of God is infallible in its entirety and we look to God's Holy Spirit for leadership and guidance in our Church life.
Here at Church on the Way we try to provide a safe and caring environment for children to come together, make good friends and encounter sound role models. We have a very active children's ministry and a growing youth ministry. We want our young people to learn of God's love for them, and to understand how special they are. In addition to the usual children's programmes that run every week here at Church on the Way, I would like to draw your attention to two other ministries for children as parents look towards the school summer break and the new school year starting in September.
KidZone You will see that we are running our annual KidZone programme for the first three weeks of the school holidays. The kids have a great time and come back for more the following year. 5-7's group is filling up quick so don't delay in booking your child a place.You can find out more and apply on line here.
First Steps Christian Pre-School Parents are also thinking about pre-school from next September. We have a great ministry here at Church on the Way known as First Steps Christian Pre-School, and you can find out more and apply on line here.
The end of the school term is almost upon us. This means that our regular term-time only childrens' activities come to an end during the week beginning Monday 13th July. The Tea-time club will have its last meeting of term on Monday 13th July, Mums and Toddlers will end on Wednesday 15th July, and Friday Salt & Light Club will close on the 17th July. We'll be back in September!
